How the appointment goes
First the tooth is cleaned and dried so the crystal holds securely. Then we place it exactly where you want it and cure the adhesive. After a few minutes it sits firmly. You feel nothing — there is no drilling and no anaesthetic is needed. All in all you are with us for about 20 minutes.
How long the stone lasts
How long a tooth gem lasts depends on where it sits and on how you eat and brush. On an incisor or a canine it usually lasts longer than in a spot under heavy chewing load. If it does come off sooner, we put a new one on — just let us know.
Which tooth works best
The most popular are the lateral incisors and the canines in the upper jaw: the stone is clearly visible when you laugh and does not get in the way when you chew. We look at it together beforehand and hold the stone up so you can see the effect before anything is glued.
Standard crystal or Swarovski
The standard crystal costs 19 €, each additional stone in the same appointment 10 €. The genuine Swarovski crystal costs 29 €, each additional one 15 € — it refracts the light more strongly and sparkles noticeably more. Both are applied the same way; the difference is only in the stone.
Taking it off again
A tooth gem is not meant to last forever. If you no longer want it, we take it off again in a few minutes. The tooth stays as it was — because nothing was changed about the tooth substance in the first place.
Studio or dental practice
Both are possible. With us you get it as a cosmetic service, calmly and with time to choose. If something on your teeth needs treating — decay, loose fillings, inflamed gums — that belongs in a dental practice first. We do not carry out any dental treatment.

How long does a tooth gem last?
That varies a lot and depends on the spot on the tooth, on your diet and on brushing. If it comes off sooner than expected, we put a new one on.
How long do I have to wait before eating?
The adhesive cures during the appointment, after that you can eat and drink normally. For the first few hours we would still avoid very hard things such as nuts or crusty bread.
Which tooth does the stone go on?
Usually a lateral incisor or a canine in the upper jaw. There it is visible when you laugh and does not get in the way when chewing. You decide, we advise.
Is a tooth gem harmful to the teeth?
The stone is glued on, not set in — nothing is drilled and nothing is ground down. What matters is that you keep brushing thoroughly around the stone so no plaque collects there. If you have acute problems with teeth or gums, please see a dentist first.
What does it cost to have the stone removed?

Is a tooth gem halal?
That decision is yours. As for the facts: the stone is only glued on, the tooth substance is not altered, and it can be removed again at any time without residue. No permanent change to the body takes place.
